A member of Iran-South Africa joint trade council said Iran could export petrochemical products, packaging machinery, and foodstuff to South Africa. Maryam Soltani added South Africa, as the biggest African economy, is an ideal market for Iranian products considering the huge advances the country has had in auto manufacturing, banking, and tourism. She said economic relations, which witnessed a downturn during the past eight years, is improving under President Rouhani’s administration.
