Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Gholamhossein Shafei says the establishment of giant state-owned companies and the subsequent government support for these firms have overshadowed the prospects of private sector. He urged the government to guarantee more freedom for the private sector and stop favoring quasi-governmental companies by providing support, Mehr News Agency reported.
