The supreme council for the economy has removed export duties on nine commodities according to Clause 3, Section B, Article 104 of the fifth development plan in order to spur non-oil products exports, Eghtesad Online reported on Wednesday. The 9 commodities include steel ingots, aluminum, copper wire, copper cathode, iron ore, lead and zinc concentrate, lead ingots and sodium sulfate. The export duty of 8 other commodities is to be determined in the near future.
