Tehran will host a national conference on investment opportunities on January 19. According to ISNA, the event is aimed at attracting foreign direct investment and improving business environment in almost every field including industries, mining, trade, agriculture, banking, insurance, financial market, energy, tourism, health, and transportation. “The conference seeks to invite foreign and domestic investors, introduce various projects and opportunities, discuss the advantages of investing in Iran, exchange economic knowledge with other countries, and encourage private sector to further interact with the world,” Mohammad Reza Bahraman, a member of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture said.
