Mobarakeh Steel Company’s Monthly Exports Reviewed

Mobarakeh Steel Company exported 18 tons of hot-rolled coil worth 4.62 trillion rials ($9.37 million) in the third month of the current Iranian year (May 22-June 21).
The company’s hot-rolled coil export price stood at 257.18 billion rials ($522,033) per ton during the period, IRIB News reported.
The company’s output of hot-rolled coil amounted to 436 tons, of which 443 tons were sold for 121.92 trillion rials ($247.47 million). 
The average selling price of this product hit 275.21 billion rials ($558,631) per ton.
The company also exported 2 tons of coated coil worth 805.94 billion rials ($1.63 million). The average export price of this product stood at 402.97 billion rials ($817,964). 
The company’s coated coil output amounted to 29 tons, all of which were sold for 13.02 trillion rials ($26.42 million). The average selling price of this product hit 449.13 billion rials ($911,661) per ton.
A total of 127 tons of cold-rolled coil were produced by the company during the month, of which 119 tons were sold for 43.2 trillion rials ($87.68 million). The selling price of this product stood at 363.04 billion rials ($736,912) per ton.
Mobarakeh Steel Company is the biggest steelmaker in Iran and the Middle East and North Africa region, accounting for about half of the country's steel production.
The state-owned company is located 65 km southwest of the city of Isfahan, near the city of Mobarakeh in Isfahan Province. It is one of the largest industrial complexes operating in Iran. 
MSC was commissioned after the victory of Iran’s 199 Islamic Revolution and initiated operations during 1993. It underwent major revamping during the 2000s.
MSC's products consist of hot- and cold-rolled sheets and coils, narrow strip coil, tinplate sheet, galvanized coil, pre-painted coil and slab produced according to national and international standards. 
These products meet the needs of various industries, such as automotive, home appliances, pipe making, pressure vessels, food, chemical and medical packing, construction, transportation, naval industries and metal equipment.
