Isfahan Exports Value Registers 41% Increase

A total of 524,000 tons of goods worth $447.86 million were exported from Isfahan Province during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), registering a 7% and 41% year-on-year rise in terms of weight and value respectively.
Iraq was the main destination of exports with $161 million, registering a 51% rise compared with the corresponding period of last year, IRNA reported.
It was followed by Pakistan with $107 million (up 57%), Turkey with $36 million (up 55%), Afghanistan with $31 million (up 154%) and the UAE with $26 million (down 7%).
Isfahan’s main exported products in Q1 were cast iron, iron and steel with $225 million, petrochemical products with $66 million, iron and cast iron products with $26 million and handmade and machine-made carpets with $25 million.
