A 45-member business delegation from Jilin, a northeastern Chinese province, is scheduled to visit Tehran on Wednesday.
The delegation is traveling to Iran to become familiar with the capacities of Iranian manufacturing companies and to improve the level of commercial-economic cooperation between the two countries, according to Hesameddin Hallaj, the acting deputy head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
The delegation is visiting Iran at the official invitation of TCCIM, the news portal of the chamber reported.
Members of the delegation include entrepreneurs and business owners from Jilin Province. They hail from a wide range of industries, including auto parts, agriculture and food, health and cosmetic products, clothing and textiles, industrial parts and furniture.
A business conference is scheduled to ring together officials from the two countries.
