Commerce Chambers Election’s Preliminary Results Released

The 10th round of the commerce chambers elections concluded late Saturday and the preliminary results were announced soon after.
The elections, held every four years at the county level, are organized to appoint representatives of the private sector, according to the news portal of Iran Chamber of Commerce.
The Election Supervisory Board will follow up any complaint of possible irregularities and the final list of elected members will be published in the new Iranian year (starting March 21).
Iran’s chambers of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture date back to 140 years.
