Industrial Chicken Farms’ PPI Inflation Reaches 66.3% in Q3

The Producer Price Index for industrial chicken farms in the four-quarter period ending Dec. 21, 2022, which marks the end of the third quarter of the current Iranian year, increased by 66.3% compared with the corresponding period of the year before, according to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The center had put the producer inflation of the four-quarter period leading to Sept. 22, 2022 (Q2) at 52.4%. 
The overall PPI of this group (using the year ending March 2017 as the new base year) stood at 929.1 in Q3 (Sept. 23-Dec. 21, 2022), registering a 2% and 88.2% rise compared with the previous quarter and the same quarter of the year before, respectively.
Quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year producer inflation of the previous quarter stood at 49.4% and 89.6%, respectively.
