Sistan-Baluchestan Exports Surge by 32% 

A total of 1.16 million tons of goods worth $165 million have been exported from Sistan-Baluchestan Province’s customs terminals and border markets since the beginning of the current Iranian year on March 21, registering a 78% and 32% year-on-year rise in weight and value respectively.
The exports mainly included cement and clinker, travertine stone, coal coke, thermal coal, dates, natural gas, fruits and vegetables, and agricultural pesticides.
Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Indonesia were the main destinations, IRNA reported.
Meanwhile, 1.23 million tons of goods worth $1.23 million were imported into the province during the same period, registering a 26% decline in weight, but a 40% growth in value.
Wheat, rice, feed corn, barley, mango, banana, sesame, potato, livestock, clothing, tea, auto spare parts, light and heavy car tires, cooling devices, spice and fish were the main imports.
Russia, Pakistan, France, Germany, India, Brazil, the UAE, China, Thailand and Afghanistan were the main exporters.
Customs services were provided to 212,135 incoming passengers as well as 539,177 outgoing passengers during the period, registering  4.7% and 5.5% rise respectively.
Passengers traveled from local borders of Milak, Mirjaveh and Rimdan, as well as Zahedan International Airport and Chabahar Airport during the period.
