Tehran, Baku Begin Bridge Construction Across Aras River

Azerbaijan and Iran have started bridge construction across the Aras River, within the Zangezur corridor, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference.
According to Bayramov, Azerbaijan will have an alternative route from the Zangilan District to Nakhchivan, Trend News Agency reported on Tuesday.
"Azerbaijan pursues an independent policy and we will promote our national interests by all means," he added.
