A total of 7,392 residential properties were sold in the capital city Tehran during the eighth month of the current Iranian year (Oct. 23-Nov. 21), registering a more than 53% rise from 4,830 in the preceding month, the Statistical Center of Iran said in a new report released on Monday.
The report noted that District 5 saw the highest number of sales with 1,070, while District 19 had the lowest with 70.
According to SCI, the annualized inflation of residential buildings in Tehran reached 35% in the month ending Nov. 21.
