75% Rise in Marine Passenger Traffic

More than 8.4 million passengers travelled to/from Iranian ports during the first seven months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Oct. 22), registering a 75% rise compared with the similar period of last year.
The data were released in the report of the Planning and Resource Management Department of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
The highest passenger traffic during the first seven months of the past 10 years was registered in the fiscal 2019-20 with 11 million, the report said.
