Iran's Transactions With SCO Top $23b 

From March 21 to Oct. 22, Iran’s exports to Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s member states stood at 23.6 million tons (up 0.81%) worth $11.73 billion (up 16.19%), while imports hit 5.71 million tons (up 19.05%) worth $11.63 billion (up 44.95%)

Iran’s trade transactions with Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s member states, excluding crude oil exports, reached 29.31 million tons worth $23.37 billion in the seven fiscal months ending Oct. 22, registering a 3.88% and 29.22% year-on-year rise in weight and value respectively, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
China with 20.02 million tons worth $17.46 billion was Iran’s main trade partner among SCO member states during the period. It was followed by India with 3.89 million tons worth $2.79 billion and Russia with 2.3 million tons worth $1.32 billion.
Iranian exports hit 23.6 million tons worth $11.73 billion during the period to register a 0.81% and a 16.19% increase in terms of weight and value YOY, respectively.
China with 17.76 million tons worth $9.18 billion, India with 2.72 million tons worth $1.09 billion and Pakistan with 1.69 million tons worth $703.89 million were the main export destinations.
