The Producer Price Index for industrial chicken farms in the four-quarter period ending Sept. 22, which marks the end of the second quarter of the current fiscal year, increased by 52.4% compared with the corresponding period of the year before. 
The Statistical Center of Iran had put the producer inflation of the four-quarter period leading to June 21, 2022 (Q1 of fiscal 2022-23) at 43.4%. 
The overall PPI of this group (using the year ending March 2017 as the new base year) stood at 911.1 in Q2 (June 22-Sept. 22), indicating a 49.4% and an 89.6% increase compared with the previous quarter and the same quarter of the year before, respectively.
Quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year producer inflation of the previous quarter stood at 46.1% and 43.4%, respectively.
