Non-oil exports from Iran's Golestan Province hit 200,000 tons worth $121.09 million in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Oct. 22), registering a 14% decline in weight but a 35% increase in terms of value compared with the corresponding period of last year, according to a local customs official.
Ibrahim Hosseini added that polystyrene, cheese, iodine, iron pipes and profiles, dates, particle board, copper wire, metal products and tomato paste were the main products exported during the period.
Turkmenistan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Romania, Bulgaria, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Russia and Poland were the most important export destinations among the 32 countries that imported goods.
