More than 196 tons of commodities worth $169 million were exported from Qom Province during the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21-Sept. 22), registering a 108% and 56% rise in weight and value respectively compared with the similar period of last year, according to a local customs official.
“Imports to Qom during the same period stood at 32,457 tons worth $165.46 million,” Esfandiar Derikvandi was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
The official noted that the main imported products over the period under review were essential goods, production raw materials and industrial equipment.
