Iran’s trade with Spain reached 61,961 tons worth €192.14 million in the first six months of 2022, registering a respective rise of 9.3% and 21.6% in tonnage and value compared with the corresponding period of 2021, according to the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade.
Exports to Spain stood at 46,999 tons worth €474.13 million, registering a 62.7% and 68.7% year-on-year rise in terms of weight and value respectively.
Saffron with €18.33 million, pistachio with €10.7 million, heavy polyethylene with €6.95 million and fluted glass with €6.56 million were the main goods exported to Spain from Iran during the period.
