The Sixth International Exhibition of Transportation, Logistics and Related Industries is scheduled to be held on Dec. 18-20, 2022, in Tehran.
The focus of the expo will be on transit as well as various land, sea, air and rail transportation and infrastructure in the specialized fields of road construction and maintenance, equipment and road safety, smart transportation, tunnels, bridges, asphalt, bitumen, road construction machinery, road control systems, educational institutions and centers, insurance, banks and financial institutions.
Countries who have signed cooperation agreement for the Belt and Road Initiative will be present at the event, Mehr News Agency reported.
BRI is China’s main international cooperation and economic strategy. It is also known as “One Belt, One Road”, “Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road” or just the “New Silk Road”. It was announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping in Kazakhstan in October 2013.
