Poultry Output Down 17% 

A total of 168,977 tons of poultry meat were produced in Iran’s official slaughterhouses in the fourth month of the current fiscal year (June 22-July 22), marking a 17% decline compared with the previous month.
According to the Statistical Center of Iran, it registered no change compared with last year’s corresponding period. 
Chicken production stood at 164,263 tons (97.2% of the total output).
Other types of poultry produced during the period included turkey, quail, ostrich and partridge.
