TCCIM to Hold Workshop, Four Business Courses

The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold four business courses and a workshop in August and September.

The online workshop will discuss regulation that obliges exporters to repatriate their earnings by selling their foreign currency proceedings from exports to the government. It is scheduled to be held online on August 21 from 4-8 p.m. Topics include introduction to export licenses, methods of financing imports from export earnings, Comprehensive Trade System and organizations involved in the process.

A course titled “Forwarder Operation A-Z” will be held online as of August 29 on Mondays from 5-8 p.m. Topics include  introduction to international freight transportation, methods of international cargo transportation, transportation insurance and value-added tax related to freight transportation.

Another course titled “Business Conversation and Correspondence in English” will be held as of Sept. 3 on Saturdays and Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. Subjects include communication, business documents, risk-taking, teamwork and crisis management. The course will run for a total of 30 hours.

A third course titled “Practical Accounting” is due to be held online as of Sept. 4 on Sundays from 4-6 p.m. Topics include tax payment system and store terminals, wage and salary, professional tips from labor law, labor relations and insurance, insurance audit, contractor insurance and tax proceedings.

Another course titled “Inventory Management and Warehousing” is scheduled to be held online as of Sept. 12 on Mondays from 5-8 p.m. Subjects include concepts of warehousing and inventory control, Warehouse Management System, Pareto law, principles of warehousing, how to classify and code goods, types of goods ordering systems and material requirements planning.
