IMIDRO’s Coal Concentrate Output Increases by 44%
IMIDRO’s Coal Concentrate Output Increases by 44%

The coal concentrate production of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization’s (IMIDRO) subsidiaries stood at 184,587 tons in the first quarter of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21).
This indicates a 44% rise compared with their output in last year’s corresponding period, IMIDRO reported on its website. 
Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company’s production stood at 162,748 tons and Central Alborz Coal Company’s output hit 21,839 tons in the first quarter. 
The subsidiaries extracted 525,194 tons of coal during the period which, compared to last year’s 343,409 tons, registered a 53% year-on-year rise.
The share of Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company from extractions stood at 450,967 tons and those of Tabas Coal Complex and Central Alborz Coal Company stood at 44,481 and 29,746 tons respectively.
Iranian coal mines, with about 1.15 billion tons of combined reserves, have the capacity to produce up to 3 million tons of coal concentrates per year.
