Iran and Russia signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday to expand aviation ties, according to the spokesperson of Iran Aviation Organization.
“As per the agreement, the number of passenger flights between Iran and Russia will increase to 35 per week,” Mir-Akbar Razavi was also quoted as saying by IRIB News.
As stipulated in the MoU, the official added, the airlines of the two sides have been permitted to conduct as many cargo flights per week as needed.
