Iran's Trade With Six Persian Gulf States Hit $7 Billion in Q1

Iran traded 12.63 million tons of goods worth $7 billion with the six Persian Gulf littoral states, namely Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, in the first quarter of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21), latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
The UAE was Iran’s top trade partner among countries under review with 5.36 million tons worth $5.07 billion. It was followed by Iraq with 5.69 million tons worth $1.86 billion and Kuwait with 1.37 tons worth $46.56 million.
Iran’s exports totaled 10.14 million tons worth $3.54 billion.
