Iran’s trade with Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s 11 member states (excluding crude oil exports) stood at 12.34 million tons worth $9.86 billion in the first quarter of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21), registering a 29% year-on-year growth, according to the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
Rouhollah Latifi added that exports reached 10.21 million tons worth $5.51 billion, registering a 20% YOY rise, IRNA reported.
The main export destinations were China with $4.21 billion, India with $424.42 million, Afghanistan with $367.34 million, Pakistan with $279.38 million, Russia with $114.73 million and Uzbekistan with $46.35 million.
