Serbia Hosting Iranian Business Delegation

A business delegation from the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran arrived in Serbia on Monday with the aim of exploring ways of expanding bilateral cooperation with their counterparts from this central European country.
The Iranian delegation is headed by TPO chief, Alireza Peymanpak, who is accompanied by Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Gholamhossein Shafei and the head of Qazvin Chamber of Commerce, Mehdi Bakhshandeh, IRNA reported.
The delegation also includes traders and business owners active in a host of fields, including medical equipment, tourism, food industries, cosmetics and toiletries, polymer and compound raw materials, fertilizers and urea, paraffin, furniture, wood industry, seeds and pesticides, agricultural products and information technology.
Businesspeople from the two sides were scheduled to hold meetings at Serbia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry to survey possible commercial and economic cooperation.  
Peymanpak was due to meet with Serbia’s ministers of foreign affairs, agriculture and finance, as well as the deputy minister of trade during his five-day visit.
