Iran’s foreign trade, excluding crude oil exports, stood at 13.62 million tons worth $8.9 billion in the third month of the current fiscal year (May 22-June 21), according to the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration. 
Exports totaled 10.65 million tons worth $4.55 billion, unchanged year-on-year in terms of value while imports hit 2.97 million tons worth $4.35 billion, registering a 6.5% increase in value.  
Rouhollah Latifi was also quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency that Iran’s foreign trade registered a surplus of $204 million during the month ending June 21.
