‘Housing & Utilities’ Annualized Inflation at 27.2%: SCI

The “housing and utilities (water, electricity, natural gas and other fuels)” group registered 27.2% annualized inflation in the third month of the current fiscal year (May 22-June 21), according to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The Consumer Price Index of the group stood at 291.7, indicating a 2.8% rise compared with the month before. 
The group’s CPI index, which has the biggest impact on the total inflation rate with a coefficient of 35.5%, registered a year-on-year increase of 31.4%.
