Iran's Trade With Turkey Surges by 46%

Iran and Turkey traded $1.92 billion worth of goods in the first four months of 2022 to register a 46.8% year-on-year rise, latest data by the Turkish Statistical Institute show.
Iranian exports reached $778.22 million, up 23.84% year-on-year, while imports grew by 68.02% to $1.14 billion.
Bilateral trade stood at $510.88 million in April, up 57.69% YOY, with Turkish exports at $217.5 million, up 46.37% YOY, and Iranian exports at $293.38 million, registering a 67.29% growth year-on-year.
Iran and Turkey traded $4.77 billion worth of goods in 2021 to register a 69.12% rise compared with the preceding year. Iranian exports stood at $2.52 billion, up 145.18% year-on-year, while imports grew by 25.5% to $2.25 billion.
