Iran's trade (excluding crude oil exports) with Caspian Sea littoral states stood at 558,656 million tons worth $220.65 million in the first month of the current fiscal year (March 21-April 20), according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
Russia was Iran’s main trading partner among Caspian states with 309,623 tons worth $130.12 million during the period under review. It was followed by the Azerbaijan Republic with 48,162 tons worth $41.77 million, Kazakhstan with 72,316 tons worth $25.17 million and Turkmenistan with 128,555 tons worth $23.59 million.
Iran’s exports hit 260,972 tons worth $89.24 million.
