‘Communications’ Registers Lowest Inflation at 5.5%

The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of “communications” in the 12-month period ending April 20, which marks the last day of the first month of fiscal 2022-23, increased by 5.5% compared with the corresponding period of the year before, according to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The annualized inflation was the lowest among 12 groups of goods and services surveyed by SCI.
The CPI of the group stood at 190.6 in the month to April 20, indicating a 0.1% increase compared with the month before.
