Q4 Electricity PPI at 19.4%

The Producer Price Index for the electricity sector during the four-quarter period ending March 20, which marks the end of the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year, increased by 19.4% compared with the same period of the year before.
The sector’s PPI (using the Iranian year ending March 2017 as the base year) stood at 189.9 in the fourth quarter (Dec. 22, 2021-March 21), indicating an increase of 2.1% compared with the preceding quarter and a rise of 10.6% compared with the same quarter of the year before.
