Transportation Registers 36.4 Percent Inflation

The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of “transportation” in the 12-month period ending April 20, which marks the last day of the first month of the fiscal 2022-23, increased by 36.4% compared with the similar period of the year before.
The CPI of “transportation” stood at 526 for the month to April 20, up 3.3% compared with the month before. 
The “transportation” index registered a year-on-year increase of 36.3%.
