Exports from Qom Province’s customs terminals hit 27,219 tons worth $19.15 million in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 20), registering an 85% and 54% year-on-year rise in weight and value respectively, according to a local customs official, Esfandiyar Derikvand.
Around 2,350 tons worth $9.16 million were imported into the province during the same period.
“The imports mostly included essential goods, production line equipment and spare parts,” the official said, without elaborating on other exported commodities, IRNA reported.
