TCCIM Plans Economic Exchanges With Poland, Belarus, India

After holding virtual conferences and receiving economic delegations in recent months, Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture plans to host two business delegations from the Polish Silesian Chamber of Commerce; and the Progress, Harmony and Development Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India in May and June.

TCCIM also plans a business webinar with the Minsk Department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the chamber reported on its news portal.

From May 9-10, a trade delegation from Polish Silesian Chamber of Commerce will arrive in Iran to meet Iranian private sector representatives and learn about the strengths and capacities of Iranian companies.

Representatives of Polish steelmakers will be part of the delegation as they seek to buy steel products, namely different kinds of profiles, sheets, rods and rebars from Iran.

A meeting with members of TCCIM will be held at 11 a.m. on May 9 with the participation of representatives from the Iran-Poland Chamber of Commerce.

In cooperation with Minsk Chamber of Commerce and Industries, TCCIM plans to hold a webinar to know more about its members and develop trade relations with Belarus through the virtual ZOOM platform.

The event, which will be attended by the secretary-generals of the two chambers of commerce, the ambassadors of Iran and Belarus, Iranian customs officials, private sector organizations in the field of transportation and members of the two chambers, will be held at 11 a.m. on May 11.

In this meeting, different ways of establishing effective communication between the two countries' businessmen will be discussed in order to answer the questions of the two sides on how to cooperate with the other side.

TCCIM, in cooperation with Iran-India Chamber of Commerce, is preparing to host a trade delegation from India.

The mission, which includes representatives from a wide range of fields, including health, agriculture, food, chemicals, financial and legal services, packaging, electronic equipment and information technology, is expected to visit the TCCIM headquarters at 10:30 a.m. on May 23.
