Annual Exports From S. Khorasan Hit $720m

A total of 2.13 million tons of goods worth $720 million were exported from South Khorasan Province, located in eastern Iran, in the fiscal 2021-22 (ended March 20), registering a 40% and 14% year-on-year decline in terms of weight and value respectively, according to a local official.
“The exports mainly included cucurbits, cement, light hydrocarbon, ceramic and tile, diesel, distilled fuel oil, dates, bitumen and rebar,” Hassan Rahimzadeh was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Turkmenistan were the main export destinations.
