A total of 557,453 business permits were issued by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade during the last fiscal year’s first 11 months (March 21-Feb. 19), registering a 5.3% decline compared with the similar period of last year, latest figures released by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade show.
About 58,162 permits were issued during the 11th Iranian month (Jan. 21-Feb. 19), registering a 9% increase month-on-month.
Topping the list of provinces with the highest number of business permits during the 11 months were Tehran with 77,459, Khorasan Razavi with 52,062, Isfahan with 42,963, Mazandaran with 35,647 and Fars with 28,853.
Tehran also topped the list with the highest number of permits during the 11th Iranian month with 6,098 permits. It was followed by Khorasan Razavi with 4,457, Isfahan with 4,360, Mazandaran with 3,851 and Fars with 2,901 permits.
The number of permits stood at 665,607 in the fiscal 2020-21, indicating a 58% growth compared with the previous year.
The number of e-trust permits issued in the 11-month period registered a 24.9% increase to reach 36,362.
E-trust permits issued in the 11th fiscal month stood at 4,174 to register a 9.8% decrease month-on-month.
In the last Iranian year, these permits increased by a whopping 150.8% to 33,044.
