Tehran’s Monthly Residential Housing Inflation Dips Lower

The annualized monthly inflation of Tehran’s residential housing hit the lowest in 41 months in the last month of previous fiscal year (Feb. 20-March 20), latest data released by the Statistical Center of Iran show.
The Consumer Price Index of homes in the capital city in the 12-month period ending March 20, which marks the end of the 12th month of last Iranian year, increased by 33.01% compared with the corresponding period of the preceding year. 
SCI had put the average annual inflation rate for the preceding Iranian month, which ended on Feb. 19, at 37.24%. 
The housing inflation for the month under review (Feb. 20-March 20) registered a year-on-year increase of 19.85% compared with the similar month of last year. The year-on-year inflation of the month ending Feb. 19 was 23%.
