Iran's Trade With SCO Surges 31% to $32.7 Billion in 11 Months

Iran’s trade with member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization stood at 48.9 million tons worth $32.71 billion in the 11 months to Feb. 19, 2022, registering a 41% and 31% year-on-year growth in weight and value, respectively, according to the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
“Iran’s exports hit 40.64 million tons worth $18.3 billion, registering a 41% growth compared with the corresponding period of last year,” Rouhollah Latifi was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
China with $12.63 billion, Afghanistan with $1.66 billion, India with $1.63 billion, Pakistan with $1.13 billion and Russia with $439 million were the top five export destinations.
