126 Flights to/From Najaf, Damascus During Norouz

Iran flag carrier airline, IranAir, is scheduled to operate 126 flights to and from the city of Najaf in Iraq and Syrian capital Damascus in the Iranian New Year holidays, Norouz, which falls between March 20 and April 2.
“These include 38 flights between Tehran and Najaf, 19 between Tehran and Damascus, two between Mashhad and Damascus, two between Kerman and Damascus, one between Tabriz and Damascus and one between Shiraz and Damascus,” Hossein Jahani, an IranAir official, was quoted as saying by Fars News Agency.
Jahani noted that IranAir’s other international flights during the period include seven flights to Izmir, 13 to Alania, 11 to Istanbul, 11 to Denizli, 11 to Yerevan, six to Baku, two to Milan, two to London and one flight to Cologne.
“Sixty flights will be conducted with Airbus 310, 98 with Airbus 319, 24 with Airbus 300-600, 62 with Airbus 321 and 10 with Airbus 330,” he added.
