IranAir plans to add five new flights from Kerman, Mashhad, Shiraz and Tabriz to the Syrian capital Damascus during the Norouz holidays (starting March 21), according to Hossein Jahani, an official with the flag carrier airline’s public relations office.
Flights from Imam Khomeini International Airport to Damascus started from March 1 and will continue until April 8 every day.
The flight from Mashhad International Airport to Damascus Airport was scheduled to start from March 6 and will continue until March 26 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Flights from Kerman Airport will start from March 11 and will continue until March 31 on Thursdays and Fridays.
Flights from Shiraz will be operated from March 21 and from Tabriz as of March 16.
IranAir also plans daily flights to Al Najaf International Airport.
