Provincial Inflation Rates Scrutinized

The Statistical Center of Iran’s latest report has scrutinized the inflation rates across provinces.
The growth in Consumer Price Index in the current Iranian year’s 11th month (Jan. 21-Feb. 19) was the highest (4.1%) for Mazandaran Province compared with the previous month, while Bushehr Province posted the lowest month-on-month inflation of 1% during the month under review.
The overall CPI, using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year, stood at 396.4 in the month to Feb. 19, indicating a 2.1% rise compared with the previous month.
