Clothing Registers 51.9% Annualized Inflation

The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of “clothing and shoes” in the 12-month period ending Feb. 19 increased by 51.9% compared with last year’s corresponding period.
With a coefficient of 4.78%, the CPI of the group stood at 471.1 in the month to Deb. 19, indicating a 2.6% increase compared with the month before.
The “clothing and shoes” index registered a year-on-year increase of 46.8%, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.
