Hotels, Restaurants Register Highest Inflation With 60%

The “hotels and restaurants” group has registered the highest price rise among 12 groups of consumer goods and services reviewed by the Statistical Center of Iran.
The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of this group in the 12-month period ending Jan. 20 increased by 60% — the highest annualized inflation among the surveyed groups. 
The CPI of “hotels and restaurants” stood at 268.7 in the month to Jan. 20, indicating a 4% rise compared with the month before.
