The overall CPI of Tehran Province stood at 392.7 in the month to Jan. 20, indicating a 3.9% rise compared with the month before. Month-on-month consumer inflation was 1.4% for the preceding month

Tehran Registers Highest Average Monthly Price Rise of 3.9 Percent

The growth in Consumer Price Index in the current Iranian year’s 10th month (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) was the highest (3.9%) for Tehran Province compared with the previous month.
According to data released by the Statistical Center of Iran, Khuzestan Province posted the lowest month-on-month inflation of 0.1% during the month under review. 
The overall CPI, using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year, stood at 388.2 in the same month, indicating a 2.4% rise compared with the previous month.
