CBI: Q2 GDP Up 1%

The Central Bank of Iran said the economy grew by 1% in the second quarter of the current fiscal year (June 22-Sept. 22).
Without taking oil production into account, GDP growth stood at 0.5%, new data released by the bank shows.
According to CBI, the oil sector grew by 7.4% in the second quarter.
The Statistical Center of Iran says GDP grew by 4.2% in summer (Q2).
Excluding oil production, Q2 growth stood at 3.3%, SCI reported on its website.
