‘Transportation’ Inflation Surpasses 42 Percent

The average goods and services Consumer Price Index of “transportation” in the 12-month period ending Dec. 21 increased by 42.2% compared with the similar period of the year before.
With a coefficient of 9.41%, the CPI of “transportation” stood at 480.5 in the month to Dec. 21, indicating a 2.8% increase compared with the previous month. 
The “transportation” index registered a year-on-year increase of 33.3%.
