The number of Istanbul-Shiraz flights operated by Turkish Airways has increased from four to five since Dec. 13, according to Director General of Fars Province Airports Gholamreza Karim-Aqaie.
The flights are scheduled for Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, arriving at Shiraz International Airport (aka Shahid Dastgheyb International Airport) at 1:30 a.m. and leaving for Istanbul at 2:30 a.m., the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported.
According to the official, in addition to Turkish Airlines, other foreign airlines, including Flydubai, SalamAir and Qatar Airways as well as domestic airlines such as IranAir, Taban and Qeshm, have scheduled flights from Shiraz to foreign destinations.
