Output of Six Minerals Products Registers Increase

The Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade's review of the current Iranian year’s first five months (March 21-Aug. 22) show the output of six mineral products (out of 12 under review) saw growth compared with the similar period of last year.
A total of 222,900 tons of pure aluminum ingots were produced during the period, up 30.8% compared with the corresponding period of last year.
Sheet glass production rose by 26.5% YOY to more than 548,400 tons.
The production of porcelain dishes increased by 22.8% YOY to 24,700 tons while tile and ceramic output hit 181.97 million square meters, experiencing a 7.5% YOY increase.
