The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold six new specialized business courses.
The first course titled “Resume Writing in English” is scheduled to be held from Sept. 21 on Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include different parts of a professional resume; how to attach documents on qualification and work experience; how to present personal interests; introduction to cover letter writing and its importance; how to write cover letter in English; component of a professional job interview; LinkedIn structure and how to create an account and complete a profile on this social network, the news portal of TCCIM reported.
The second course titled "Payroll Accounting Training" is scheduled to be held from Sept. 21 on Saturdays and Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Topics to be covered include general principles and concepts of accounting related to salaries; scientific, legal and mathematical bases of salaries; labor laws related payments for night shifts, mixed-shift work, working on holidays, overtime and business missions; calculating the workers and personnel’s working hours using Excel; social security insurance calculations with Excel; in addition to practical and computational examples of payroll.
The third course titled “Salary Structure and Compensation System of Services and Benefits” is scheduled to be held from Oct. 11 on Saturdays and Mondays from 5-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include compensation for services and benefits, payment policy, role of job evaluation and review of payroll markets in the compensation system, creation of salary structure based on different models and explanation of salary classification system, according to labor laws. The course will run for a total of 10 hours.
The fourth course titled “Poster Designing” is scheduled to be held online from Sept. 26 on Sundays and Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m. Topics to be covered include concept of poster, poster history, basics of image and simplification principles, and technique of combining images and reaching a new concept.
The fifth course titled “Comprehensive Import Training” is scheduled to be held online from Oct. 12 on Tuesdays from 3-7 p.m. Topics to be covered include mastering the complete import process, calculating costs associated with imports, import obstacles, how to register and qualify in the Comprehensive System of Trade, transportation and import of goods and familiarity with imports from China, the UAE and the European Union.
The sixth and final course titled “Professional Clearance Expert” is scheduled to be held online from Oct. 9 on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m. Topics to be covered include how to declare goods at customs, how to perform customs formalities, customs clearance of goods and familiarity with customs violations.
